02Verify your vial
Every vial label carries a QR code. Point your phone camera at it.
The code opens that lot's certificate with every assay value. No phone? Type the lot from your packing slip on Verify a lot.
Each signed certificate links to the lab's own verification page, so the report can be confirmed independently of us.

04In the lab
5-Amino-1MQ is a small-molecule inhibitor of NNMT, the enzyme that methylates nicotinamide. In laboratory research it lowered the NNMT product 1-MNA and raised NAD+ and SAM in adipocytes, and supported aged muscle stem cell activity.

Compound
5-Amino-1MQNNMT inhibitor, 5-amino-1-methylquinoliniumCultured adipocytes
Endpoint studied
NNMT inhibitors cut intracellular 1-MNA, raised NAD+ and SAM, and suppressed lipogenesis.
Neelakantan 2018 · PMID 29155147Muscle stem cells, myoblasts
Endpoint studied
Stem cells proliferated and fused more after injury; myoblasts differentiated more, with NAD+/NADH shifts.
Neelakantan 2019 · PMID 30753815Pathways as reported in the cited laboratory studies. For in-vitro research use only.

5 milestones, each linked to its PubMed record
Journal of Medicinal Chemistry
A structure-activity study identifies methylquinoliniums as NNMT inhibitors near 1 micromolar; docking places them in the nicotinamide site.
PubMed · PMID 28548833Biochemical Pharmacology
Methylquinolinium inhibitors cross membranes, spare related methyltransferases, and raise NAD+ and SAM in cultured adipocytes.
PubMed · PMID 29155147Biochemical Pharmacology
In an aged muscle injury model, stem cell activity rose, giving larger myofibers and about 70% higher contractile torque.
PubMed · PMID 30753815Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Analysis
An LC-MS/MS assay is validated to measure 5-amino-1MQ in plasma and urine samples.
PubMed · PMID 34304009Diabetes, Obesity & Metabolism
In an obesity model, 5A1MQ improved glucose tolerance and insulin sensitivity, eased hepatic steatosis, and reached adipose, muscle and liver.

06Questions
About 5-Amino-1MQ, its certificate and your order.
Email [email protected], Monday to Friday. A person replies within one business day.
The current released lot, SA-5AM-2610. Scan the QR code on the vial label to open its certificate. The lot number is also on your packing slip, and the full certificate is here.
Every certificate is issued by an independent laboratory. Each lot has its own public record page with every assay value, and a link to verify the report on the lab's own site once the signed PDF is posted.
Vials are filled slightly over the labelled mass so that every vial meets it. Net content is measured on each lot and published as a number, not a pass.
Email [email protected] within 7 days with your order number and a photo and we will replace it.
Orders by 2 PM ET on a weekday ship the same day, with tracking emailed when the label prints.
No. It is sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and is not for human or animal use of any kind.
