02Verify your vial

Three steps from label to lab.

  1. 01Scan the label

Every vial label carries a QR code. Point your phone camera at it.

  2. 02Land on its record

The code opens that lot's certificate with every assay value. No phone? Type the lot from your packing slip on Verify a lot.

  3. 03Check it with the lab

Each signed certificate links to the lab's own verification page, so the report can be confirmed independently of us.

How TB-500 is studied to work.

TB-500 is LKKTETQ, the actin-binding site of thymosin beta-4, a peptide that binds actin monomers and blocks polymerization. Signaling studies used the full peptide: ILK-Akt in heart muscle cells and PI3K-Akt-eNOS in endothelial progenitors.

  1. Cell survival

    Cardiomyocytes

    • PINCH
    • ILK
    • Akt

    Endpoint studied

    Migration and survival

Formed a complex with PINCH and ILK that activated Akt; heart muscle cells migrated and survived more.

    Bock-Marquette 2004 · PMID 15565145
  2. Endothelial migration

    Endothelial progenitors

    • PI3K
    • Akt
    • eNOS

    Endpoint studied

    Directional migration

Akt, eNOS and ERK1/2 were phosphorylated; PI3K or eNOS inhibitors blocked migration, an ERK inhibitor did not.

  3. Inflammation signaling

    Corneal epithelial cells

    • TNF-alpha
    • NF-kB p65

    Endpoint studied

    Less nuclear NF-kB

After TNF-alpha, lower nuclear NF-kB, NF-kB activity, p65 phosphorylation and p65 nuclear entry.

06Questions

Frequently asked questions.

About TB-500, its certificate and your order.

Need assistance? We’re here to help.

Email [email protected], Monday to Friday. A person replies within one business day.

01Which lot will I receive?

The current released lot, SA-TB5-2611. Scan the QR code on the vial label to open its certificate. The lot number is also on your packing slip, and the full certificate is here.

02Is the certificate real, and can I check it?

Every certificate is issued by an independent laboratory. Each lot has its own public record page with every assay value, and a link to verify the report on the lab's own site once the signed PDF is posted.

03Why does net content show more than 10 mg?

Vials are filled slightly over the labelled mass so that every vial meets it. Net content is measured on each lot and published as a number, not a pass.

04What if the vial arrives without vacuum or damaged?

Email [email protected] within 7 days with your order number and a photo and we will replace it.

05When will it ship?

Orders by 2 PM ET on a weekday ship the same day, with tracking emailed when the label prints.

06Is TB-500 for human use?

No. It is sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and is not for human or animal use of any kind.
