02Verify your vial

Three steps from label to lab.

  1. 01Scan the label

Every vial label carries a QR code. Point your phone camera at it.

  2. 02Land on its record

The code opens that lot's certificate with every assay value. No phone? Type the lot from your packing slip on Verify a lot.

  3. 03Check it with the lab

Each signed certificate links to the lab's own verification page, so the report can be confirmed independently of us.

04In the lab

How GLP-2 TZ is studied to work.

GLP-2 TZ is one acylated peptide that activates both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors. In cell studies it acts like native GIP at the GIP receptor, but at the GLP-1 receptor it favors cAMP over beta-arrestin, with less receptor internalization.

Compound

GLP-2 TZAcylated dual GIP and GLP-1 receptor agonist peptide
  1. Biased GLP-1R signal

    Receptor cells and islets

    • GLP-1R
    • cAMP

    Endpoint studied

    Insulin response

Favored cAMP over beta-arrestin at GLP-1R; beta-arrestin1 did not limit its insulin response in islets.

    Willard 2020 · PMID 32730231
  2. Insulin sensitivity

    White adipose tissue

    • GIPR
    • Insulin

    Endpoint studied

    Glucose disposal

Raised insulin sensitivity via glucose disposal in white fat, even without GLP-1R; circulating BCAAs fell.

    Samms 2021 · PMID 34003802
  3. Amino acid breakdown

    Brown adipose tissue

    • BCAAs
    • BCKAs
    • TCA cycle

    Endpoint studied

    Thermogenic-like profile

Tracer studies: more BCAA and BCKA breakdown in brown fat, with higher alpha-ketoglutarate and malate.

    Samms 2022 · PMID 35921984

  1. 2020

    JCI Insight

    An imbalanced, biased agonist

Engages the GIP receptor more than the GLP-1 receptor; at GLP-1R it favors cAMP over beta-arrestin recruitment.

  2. 2021

    The Journal of Clinical Investigation

    GIPR and insulin sensitivity

In an obesity model lacking GLP-1R, it still raised insulin sensitivity through glucose disposal in white adipose tissue.

    PubMed · PMID 34003802
  3. 2022

Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America

    Structure of dual agonism

Cryo-EM and simulations show how its fatty acid and sequence set its action: GIP-like at GIPR, distinct at GLP-1R.

    PubMed · PMID 35333651
  4. 2022

    Molecular Metabolism

    Brown fat amino acids

It stimulated BCAA and BCKA catabolism in brown adipose tissue and raised several TCA cycle intermediates.

06Questions

Frequently asked questions.

About GLP-2 TZ, its certificate and your order.

Need assistance? We’re here to help.

Email [email protected], Monday to Friday. A person replies within one business day.

01Which lot will I receive?

The current released lot, SA-G2T-2610. Scan the QR code on the vial label to open its certificate. The lot number is also on your packing slip, and the full certificate is here.

02Is the certificate real, and can I check it?

Every certificate is issued by an independent laboratory. Each lot has its own public record page with every assay value, and a link to verify the report on the lab's own site once the signed PDF is posted.

03Why does net content show more than 10 mg?

Vials are filled slightly over the labelled mass so that every vial meets it. Net content is measured on each lot and published as a number, not a pass.

04What if the vial arrives without vacuum or damaged?

Email [email protected] within 7 days with your order number and a photo and we will replace it.

05When will it ship?

Orders by 2 PM ET on a weekday ship the same day, with tracking emailed when the label prints.

06Is GLP-2 TZ for human use?

No. It is sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and is not for human or animal use of any kind.
