02Verify your vial

Three steps from label to lab.

  1. 01Scan the label

Every vial label carries a QR code. Point your phone camera at it.

  2. 02Land on its record

The code opens that lot's certificate with every assay value. No phone? Type the lot from your packing slip on Verify a lot.

  3. 03Check it with the lab

Each signed certificate links to the lab's own verification page, so the report can be confirmed independently of us.

04In the lab

How IGF-1 LR3 is studied to work.

IGF-1 LR3 is IGF-I with Arg in place of Glu3 plus a 13-residue N-terminal extension, and it binds IGF-binding proteins at least 1000-fold more weakly. In laboratory research it raised Akt signaling in mammary tissue and nitric-oxide-dependent artery responses.

Compound

IGF-1 LR3Arg3 IGF-I with a 13-residue N-terminal extension
  1. Vessel tone

    Mammary arteries

    • NOS
    • NO

    Endpoint studied

    Less constriction

Shifted noradrenaline constriction in isolated arteries; lost without endothelium or with NOS blocked.

    Gow 2000 · PMID 10825414
  2. Mammary signaling

    Mammary tissue

    • Akt
    • SOCS3

    Endpoint studied

    Lactation capacity

Raised phospho-Akt and SOCS3 gene expression in mammary tissue, with a modest rise in lactation capacity.

    Hadsell 2008 · PMID 18577570
  3. Receptor expression

    Preimplantation embryos

    • IGF-I-R
    • IGFBP-2

    Endpoint studied

    More blastocyst cells

Most cells per blastocyst; IGF-I-R mRNA rose 1.3-fold and IGFBP-2 mRNA 2.8-fold vs control.

    Prelle 2001 · PMID 11181549

05Research history

32 years in the literature.

5 milestones, each linked to its PubMed record

  1. 1993

    The Journal of Endocrinology

    Low binding-protein affinity

LR3IGF-I, a potent analog with markedly reduced IGFBP binding, circulates mostly as free peptide and clears faster than IGF-I.

    PubMed · PMID 7693845
  2. 1997

    The American Journal of Physiology

    Gut tissue growth

Enlarged gut, kidney and spleen in a developing gut model; LR3IGF-I was more potent than IGF-I.

    PubMed · PMID 9124573
  3. 1999

    The Journal of Biological Chemistry

    Folding pathway mapped

Mass spectrometry traps three disulfide folding intermediates of LR3IGF-I, which carries Arg3 and a 13-residue extension.

    PubMed · PMID 10608814
  4. 2000

    Experimental Physiology

    Nitric oxide in arteries

Isolated mammary arteries constrict less to noradrenaline, an effect that needs endothelium and nitric oxide synthesis.

    PubMed · PMID 10825414
  5. 2025

    Journal of Alzheimer's Disease

    Amyloid plaque remodeling

Shifted cortical plaques toward inert forms in an amyloid model but did not preserve memory.

06Questions

Frequently asked questions.

About IGF-1 LR3, its certificate and your order.

Need assistance? We’re here to help.

Email [email protected], Monday to Friday. A person replies within one business day.

01Which lot will I receive?

The current released lot, SA-IGF-2610. Scan the QR code on the vial label to open its certificate. The lot number is also on your packing slip, and the full certificate is here.

02Is the certificate real, and can I check it?

Every certificate is issued by an independent laboratory. Each lot has its own public record page with every assay value, and a link to verify the report on the lab's own site once the signed PDF is posted.

03Why does net content show more than 1 mg?

Vials are filled slightly over the labelled mass so that every vial meets it. Net content is measured on each lot and published as a number, not a pass.

04What if the vial arrives without vacuum or damaged?

Email [email protected] within 7 days with your order number and a photo and we will replace it.

05When will it ship?

Orders by 2 PM ET on a weekday ship the same day, with tracking emailed when the label prints.

06Is IGF-1 LR3 for human use?

No. It is sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and is not for human or animal use of any kind.
